Covers Month, Days 29 and 30: "Blowin' In The Wind" and "Anarchy In The U.K."

To finish off Covers Month we got Stevie Wonder beating Bob Dylan at his own game...

(mp3) Bob Dylan - Blowin' in the wind (1963)

(mp3) Stevie Wonder - Blowin' in the wind (1966)

...and Green Jellÿ turning Anarchy In The U.K. into a Flintstones anthem.

(mp3) The Sex Pistols - Anarchy in the U.K. (1977)

(mp3) Green Jellÿ - Anarchy in the U.K. (1993)

There will be another theme in June, don't miss it. I know you will though.

Of all the covers of Dylan's blowin' in the wind, this is one of the better ones, but I don't think any of them really compare to the original. Oh, and I hate the sex pistols. They had MAYBE 3 decent, but were overall pretty over-rated in my opinion.

on a side....is there anway to get a zip of the covers month? I've been loopy this month recovering from surgery and only today was able to jump back into the fray - look slike I missed some great covers.

Thanks!
