Rupert Friend (born 1 Oct. 1981) is an English film actor.Friend grew up in Stonesfield, Oxfordshire and attended The Marlborough School in Woodstock. He trained at the Webber Douglas Academy of Dramatic Art in London.
His most famous role is arguably as Mr. Wickham in the 2005 adaptation of Pride & Prejudice. He also appeared opposite Johnny Depp in The Libertine. Friend is known to have read for the part of James Bond in Casino Royale (2006).
Friend is dating actress Keira Knightley, whom he met on the set of Pride & Prejudice.
